This in-person town hall meeting, organized by County Councilwoman Gretchen D. Barron (District 7), will discuss a rezoning and adevelopment request for a project at 10141 Wilson Blvd., Blythewood.
Evado at Blythewood Apartments is a proposed 300-unit apartment community by Orangeburg-based Orange Capital Advisors. The project consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom units in 10 three-story buildings, along with a central amenity building. Other amenities include a car wash building, dog park, fire pit area and ample greenspace for residents. In addition to the apartment community, a proposed 3-4 acres of commercial space will be included at Wilson Boulevard and Turkey Farm Road.
In order for Richland County Council to enact a rezoning request, an ordinance amending the official zoning map must pass three readings by majority vote.
